Encrypted at rest and in transit

Every message, voice recording, video, and photo in your vault is encrypted using AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. The same standard used by banks and governments.

Served only through authentication

Your files are never accessible via a public URL. Every request passes through our authenticated proxy which verifies your identity and ownership before serving a single byte.

Only you and your heirs

Only you can access your vault while you are alive. Your designated heirs receive access only after the alive-check system confirms delivery should proceed. Nobody else — including us — can read your messages.

Research Data

Anonymized data — your choice

We may use anonymized, aggregated behavioral data to improve our AI and support future research. This means patterns in platform usage — not your personal messages, not your identity, not your voice.

You control this through Vault Vitality Score in account settings. Toggle off anytime.

Longevity

If Eterna Legacy ever shuts down

We will give you 180 days advance notice. During that window you can export everything you have recorded. Your files are stored in standard formats — not proprietary systems. Your legacy belongs to you, not to us.
